Hello Dolci lovers (both
old and new)!
It’s
time to start the semester off here at Dolci. In order to get the ball
rolling, we will be having a general meeting for anyone who is interested in
working this semester. If you like to cook, want to learn how to cook, or
want experience as a server, Dolci is a great place for you! (Plus, all work at
Dolci is paid!) The meeting will be this upcoming Monday, September 24, at 7:00 pm in Axinn 229. We will discuss
how Dolci works, talk scheduling, and describe the available positions. Remember, you sign up to
work Dolci on a week-to-week basis—it can be as large or small a commitment as
you want, but if you think you’d ever like to work, come get more information
at the meeting!
Also, if you are interested in being a chef for
Dolci this semester (creating a menu and leading the staff to execute your
meal), this meeting is mandatory.
Bring a couple of ideas for your meal (they don't have to be your final
ideas) and a calendar of your semester for scheduling purposes. We'll
meet briefly afterwards to talk things over.
If
you just want to eat at Dolci, you do
not need to come to this meeting. Get excited, though—our first meal is
coming up on October 5!
